Elec & Eltek is principally engaged in the fabrication and distribution of double-sided, multi-layer and High density Interconnect "HDI" printed circuit boards "PCB". ALTIX resolutely cautious

Tuesday, April 24th, 2009 – Frédéric BARADEL, ALTIX Vice-President Sales and Marketing communication after 2 months operation.
Since about two months, ALTIX has started its operation after purchasing AUTOMA-TECH Advanced Technologies assets and the registered trade mark AUTOMA-TECH™. The first machine of this new era left production two weeks ago, and a second unit will follow in a few days. Both of them will be installed on the Chinese market.
Several other automatic and semi-automatic machines will be delivered within few months.
Some new orders came additionally to the initial order book for China and India while others are expected for the USA and Europe. From the very start of the activity an entire attention has been paid to reinforce and improve our Customer Service.
In particular, new maintenance contracts are going to be launched in a few days to the attention of our Customers.
ALTIX has participated to its first exhibition under its new banner at Shanghaï in March and a second exhibition is scheduled in may in East China.
Therefore, the starting favourable projections are being confirmed but will not change ALTIX business plan, resolutely cautious.

200 new jobs created in the PCB company!
KSG in Gornsdorf, Germany, will close up to the top world producers for PCBs after its extension.
October 11th was the opening ceremony for the new extension of the KSG plant. After investing 70 Million Euro it is KSG’s goal to double the current PCB production by 2013. The production area is expanded by 11000m2 and according to Mr. Bechtloff, CEO of KSG, 200 people will be added to the current work force within the next months . The challenges now are integration of the new production floors with their new machines in the current production and the relocation of the existing machines. For example, the new big clean room of the expansion will replace the former two clean rooms of the current facility. Mr. Bechtloff stated, we are working with high-tech equipment with accuracy better than the thickness of a human hair and we are flexible regarding our PCBs in order to satisfy the customer needs. The goal is to fulfill an order within 3 days.
KSG, a company with 450 employees serves currently 500 customers mainly from Europe and Germany. In the midterm range it is targeted to increase the turnover to 80 Million Euro.
